Tom Chervinsky leads the Social Impact and External Affairs work for TELUS’ Public Policy team.

TELUS is a dynamic, world-leading technology company powered by our purpose with 15.2 million customer connections, including the roll-out of our national 5G network across urban and rural Canada.

With a focus on building bridges between Business, Government and Civil Society, Tom helps businesses and industry integrate their purpose into coalitions and campaigns, helping drive both social and business outcomes. Tom’s experience spans government, consulting, business and non-profits, including work on digital connectivity and uptake, carbon pricing, extended producer responsibility, Indigenous reconciliation, democratic engagement, poverty and COVID-19. Tom spends his down time with his labradoodle, Dude, who is slowly (but surely) extending the reach of his furry dictatorship. (Taxes are paid in neck scratches and table scraps… you’ve been warned!).
