Video Contest
Requirement
IEEE IHTC 2022 (International Humanitarian Technology Conference) would like to invite students and young professionals working on humanitarian technology projects to submit videos showcasing their work.
Share with a short video describing of your project or event focused on applying technology to address humanitarian needs.
The video must show the project or the event details and describe the impact on the participants and the community.
How to Participate
- The contest is open to all the IEEE Members.
- participants must submit a video of an IEEE activity from 2020 to 2022.
- Only one submission per group.
- Video period up to 5 minutes. We encourage videos with a voice-over narrating the details and details during the event organization and the impact on the community.
- Video link uploaded on YouTube, Facebook or Vimeo.
The video has to be uploaded and submitted to through a google form with the following information:
- Name of the activity
- Name of the organizers
- IEEE Chapter, Section, and IEEE Region
- IEEE OU Web Site (optional)
- IEEE OU Social Media Account (optional)

Terms & Conditions
Ensure that the video is in compliance with all the legal and copyright requirements, including permission to share or the authorization of the people in the video.
The Video could be a design project or the implementation of humanitarian activity.
The winner will be chosen by the video contest judges. For the judges’ consideration, the video that represents the mission and vision of the IEEE Humanitarian Activities will be the winner.
Important Dates
• Submission period: September 1 – October 10, 2022.
• Video submission deadline 1: November 22, 2022 (11:59 PM / GMT-10)
• Winner announcement: December 4, 2022.

Intellectual Property
By submitting a video to the contest(s), entrant certifies that they are the exclusive rights holder of the video. Where necessary, entrant has acquired all necessary permissions for use or reuse of any part of the video. Entrant shall indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor for any infringement or other action caused by entry. Entrant agrees to and acknowledges the completion of the IEEE IHTC video. Sponsor shall not gain any ownership interest in the video. Entrant grants Sponsor an irrevocable, world-wide, royalty free license to use, reproduce, and distribute the Entry in all media whether now known or herein after created.
